I grew up in the Columbia River Gorge about 35 miles east of Vancouver, Washington . I graduated from Stevenson High School before enlisting in the Air Force.  During my enlistment I earned an Associate degree in Law Enforcement Technology.  After my honorary discharge from the Air Force ten years later, I worked in law enforcement and investigations for several state, county and local agencies from which I won several awards.  I have over 17 years of investigative experience.
  My investigative training includes fingerprints, handwriting analysis, photography,  forensics and underwater investigations.
  I grew up watching Mannix while dreaming of being a private investigator.  In 2003 that dream was realized when I applied for and received my investigator's license.
